We are working on the development of the new welding, joining, and surface reforming techniques such as laser welding, friction stir welding (FSW), and metal 3D modeling for achieving products with greater diversity, higher functionality, and higher quality.

We are also working on advanced numerical analysis techniques such as weld process simulation, which is difficult to observe, and thermo-elasto-plastic analysis of large-scale models for predicting weld deformations and residual stress.
