Received an order for a EfW plant in U.K.

Hitachi Zosen Inova AG ("HZI", Switzerland), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Hitachi Zosen Corporation, that designs, constructs, and maintains energy-from-waste ("EfW") plants, has recently received an order for an EfW plant from enfinium Skelton Grange Limited.
The plant will be newly constructed in the city of Leeds, West Yorkshire, U.K. HZI, will undertake the construction of an EfW plant from enfinium Skelton Grange Limited.
Once the plant goes into operation, 410,000 tonnes of wastes from Yorkshire and neighboring areas will be processed annually, providing 49 MW (gross) of electricity, equivalent to more than 100,000 English households.
Our Group has delivered approximately 1,000 waste treatment plants in Japan and overseas, including 14 EfW plants by HZI in the United Kingdom since the first order received in 2006 in the United Kingdom.
Our Group will continue to actively work for achieving the SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals) adopted at the United Nations Summit and solving the global environmental issues through sanitary waste treatment and clean energy technology.
