Hitachi Zosen Receives Order for Construction and Operation of Energy-from-Waste Plant from Abiko City, Chiba

Hitachi Zosen Corporation has received an order for the construction and operation of an Energy-from-Waste plant from Abiko City, Chiba (Mayor: Junichiro Hoshino).

In this project, Abiko City will establish a stable and safe waste treatment system in the future and embody the "New Clean Center Development Basic Policy" set forth in the "Detailed Plan for the Development of New Waste Treatment Facilities", which has been planned so that an energy recovery type waste treatment facility is established for proper operation and build a recycling-oriented society.
Our Company undertakes the project in procurement, engineering and construction (EPC). And, following completion, the facility will be operated by Abiko Environment Technology Co. Ltd., special purpose company established by our group for 20 years.
