Apr 09, 2019
The AOM (After-sales service, Operation and Maintenance) business operated by Hitachi Zosen Corporation in its Environment Systems and Industrial Plants Business showed steady results throughout FY2018 as well. As shown below, the business received seven orders for rebuilding work or upgrading work, and five orders for long-term operation and management.
Hitachi Zosen received a bulk order for a waste incineration facility and water treatment facility for the city of Kasukabe in Saitama Prefecture. This was the first time the company received a single order for both a waste incineration facility and water treatment facility at the same time.
In FY2018, Hitachi Zosen worked to further strengthen its AOM business as laid out in its medium-term management plan, "Change & Growth." These efforts include starting operation of the Hitz Advanced Information Technology Center (A.I/TEC). The company will continue utilizing its wealth of experience and technology to actively engage in the AOM business and contribute to efficient, economical facility operation.
