What is Filter Press?
Filter press is a solid-liquid separation device with filtration, cleaning, and dehydration functions, and is used in production processes for chemicals and environmental protection measures such as wastewater treatment.
Early recovery from problems at remote facilities
Filter press is often delivered to facilities in various locations both in Japan and overseas. When a problem occurs, we prepare the necessary parts and visit the site for recovery. In cases where detailed information about the problem is not enough before the visit, necessary parts may be in short at site and may need to be re-arranged, making recovery time especially time-consuming for facilities in remote locations.
Understanding the operating status and early detection of problems became possible by installing EVOLIoT. In addition, it is now possible to select and bring the necessary parts for recovery before visiting the site. As a result, the number of cases where recovery can be achieved in a single response has increased, and contributing to the early resolution of problems.
Value creation by visualizing filter cloth clogging trends
In the filter press of a solid-liquid separator, as filtration is repeated, solid matter gradually accumulates inside the filter, clogging the filter cloth and reducing the filtration capacity. Decreased filtration capacity can cause various problems and may prevent normal operation.
By installing EVOLIoT, the clogging tendencies of filter cloths are visualized based on the analysis results of flow rate data. When the filtration capacity decreases, it is displayed as a numerical value. Previously, operations relied solely on the experience and knowledge of the operators. By presenting these data to the customers, they can understand and agree on the appropriate timing for replacing the filter cloth. This contributes to optimizing the operation.

What is Hydrogen Generation System?
Hydrogen Generation System is an on-site hydrogen generator that electrolyzes water to generate and supply high-purity hydrogen gas. In recent years, hydrogen has been attracting attention as a next-generation energy, and by combining it with CO2-free electricity such as renewable energy, it is expected to be used as clean energy (Power to Gas).
Response to problems
Hydrogen Generation System is composed of many modules with various roles. When a problem occurs, it is difficult to determine the cause without comprehensively investigating the data from each module. Therefore, when a problem occurs, it was necessary to visit the site and check the data, which took considerable time to investigate the cause. By installing EVOLIoT, data can be checked on a visualization screen without having to visit the site, allowing for efficient troubleshooting and contributing to early recovery.
