From October 1, 2024, our company,Hitachi Zosen Corporation,has adopted a new company name, "Kanadevia Corporation". This is not just a name change, but a strong manifestation of our commitment to transformation. The competitiveness of society and businesses is rapidly changing, with more serious environmental issues, unstable international affairs, and aging and decline of population. In the modern society where the future is unpredictable, we recognize that digital "transformation" is essential for our sustained growth.
Under our long-term vision "2030 Vision" and medium-term management plan "Forward 25", we have set "Promotion of DX strategy" as a key measure, based on the three pillars of "Business DX", "Corporate DX", and "DX Platform". In "Business DX", we aim to increase the IoT rate of our products and services to 60% by 2025, and maximize customer value through the use of AI and ICT. In "Corporate DX", we aim to improve business efficiency through the active use of digital technologies and tools, and promote work style reform for all employees. In "DX Platform", we will focus on developing DX HR development in line with the "DX Human Resources Grand Design" established in 2023, and strengthening our three platforms, including EVOLIoT to promote the "Business DX" and "Corporate DX".
We had contributed to society through our strengths in manufacturing and engineering, with technology and sincerity. Going forward, it is important to create new customer value by incorporating digital technology into our products and services, while leveraging these strengths.
We will take the changes of the times as opportunities, and persistently make contributions to society through the creation of new customer value and by embracing the challenge of technological innovation.

Kanadevia DX strategy
Kanadevia DX consists of three pillars: "Business DX" for products/services, "Corporate DX" for employees, and "DX platform" for promoting these two pillars of DX.
"Business DX" and "Corporate DX" are linked to the basic policy of medium-term management plan. By engaging in these, we aim to create new value in existing products and services for the maximization of customer value and improved profitability.

Initiatives towards the realization of Kanadevia DX
The initiatives aligned with the DX strategy are bearing fruit in various ways. We will keep challenging to promote business transformation.

The DX leader program has successfully produced an impressive total of over 120 business ideas.
Over 120 DX ideas have been generated through the three training sessions. With a forward-thinking approach, we are actively developing around 20 ideas in fields like space and marine, beyond the confines of our existing business fields. We aim to create businesses that will shape the future of Kanadevia.

Established a budget for the DX incubation promotion for business creation.
A new budget for "DX Incubation Promotion Expense" has been newly established as activity expenses for the continuous consideration of new businesses based on DX ideas. Support for external environmental research in the early stage for DX ideas in terms of costs.
